Business Director (Indonesia)

Are you passionate about making mig33 the best communication platform for Indonesia? mig33 Indonesia is seeking a Business Director who is obsessed with technology, social media and business strategy. The ideal candidate will have experience in the mobile Internet and social media in Indonesia, an extensive network of contacts in the space and a heavy emphasis on marketing, strategic analysis, product management and sales. He/she is a great executor who can make things happen. The Business Director at mig33 Indonesia is responsible for supporting the execution of growth initiatives, identifying growth opportunities that help with the distribution of the mig33 brand online and offline, with Global Sales Director creating monetization strategy for Indonesia and adding value to the mig33 user experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, manage and lead a world class Sales and New Business Development team responsible for the platform product line
  • Develop strategies and own day-to-day execution for Indonesia Sales and NBD programs to achieve both corporate and product goals
  • Provide market insights – identify and monitor strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats relevant for mig33′s expansion in Indonesia
  • Explore, Identify and Evaluate strategic growth opportunities
  • Manage telco and handset manufacturers partnerships together with local partner
  • Explore, Identify and Evaluate monetizing opportunities in Indonesia both within Merchant program and Digital Marketing program
  • Work together with Marketing department to deliver growth and excitement around mig33 brand

Requirements:

  • Self-driven, comfortable with a fast-paced, always-on, highly ambiguous start-up environment
  • Extensive knowledge of online and mobile business models and Internet/consumer technology
  • Proven track record with high standards of professionalism
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong working relationships inside and outside mig33
  • Creative, resourceful, detail-oriented, highly organized
  • Ability to meet multiple objectives in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Extensive experience dealing with partners
  • Prior experience working (8 – 10 years) in a high-growth or startup technology company preferred
  • Multinational Experience
  • Proficient in English – spoken & written
  • MBA preferred
