New Business Development Manager (Indonesia)

mig33 is looking for a Business Development Manager to identify, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships to grow the company’s user base and revenue in the Indonesian market. The primary focus will be on partnerships with mobile operators, local handset brands, VAS providers, and other local Internet properties. This role will report to the VP of Business Development based in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive results from the company’s existing app distribution and developer programs by signing up and managing new partners across Indonesia.
  • Identify new areas of collaboration and define value proposition for new partners to support local market opportunities.
  • Manage mig33’s existing partners to drive incremental distribution and revenue.
  • Work cross functionally within mig33 to understand partnership impact on our application and services, and get internal buy-in for new initiatives.
  • Serve as an advocate for partners at mig33, and identify areas for growth via partnerships.

Requirements:

  • 5 – 10 years of experience, working previously in the mobile or Internet industry.
  • Established relationships with senior management of mobile operators and/or handset brands.
  • Previous experience at a multinational firm required.
  • Fluent in spoken & written English.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate complex deals, think strategically, and understand nuanced product issues.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to clarify and summarize complex issues, leading to thoughtful recommendations and action plans.
  • Ability to work effectively and cross-functionally with all levels of management, both internally and externally.
  • MBA preferred, but not required.
