Sales Manager – Ad Sales (Indonesia)

mig33 is seeking a sales Manager with 5-8 years of experience in sales and at least 2 years in a managerial role. The Sales Manager will be responsible for maximizing efforts within mig33 working with our local partners to sell inventory to large advertisers. We are looking for a self-starter with flexibility, management experience and outstanding decision-making skills, one who is able to use quantitative abilities to make effective, strategic decisions. This candidate has to possess previous strong performance in a rapidly changing environment, is comfortable dealing with ambiguity, can successfully manage teams and demonstrate problem-solving leadership with limited oversight. The individual must be willing to submerge him/herself to achieve sales goals and grow the market. The Ideal candidates will have management experience in a media ad sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for delivering on monthly sales targets from ad sales networks
  • Identify and prioritize business opportunities
  • Assume responsibility for structuring and executing operational and strategic initiatives – developing work plans, synthesizing market related data, leading analysis and defining the overall business approach to mig33′s success in Indonesia
  • Develop and implement best practices for merchants interaction, sales and services for mig33, including a good understanding of working with advertisers and agencies
  • Execute Management strategies and build a best in class Sales Team
  • Will be required to generate sales reports for the regions
  • Analyze campaign performance statistics and recommend optimized media solutions

Requirements:

  • 5 – 8 years of Sales experience and 3+ years of sales management experience (additional retail experience strongly preferred)
  • Strong management and coaching skills
  • Knowledge of social media, reseller channels and vertical markets a plus
  • Relationships with top marketing decision makers at traditional companies and agencies is a plus
  • Experience working with brands or media agencies is a plus
  • Ability to win the support of key stakeholders
  • Proven track record of reaching and exceeding sales revenue goals
  • Demonstrable success as a leader of change, achieving operational excellence by introducing new performance measures, processes and systems
  • Demonstrated ability to perform well in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment
  • Understanding of user behavior and how technology works and the ability to explain each in ordinary terms
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Great team player
  • Proficient in English – spoken & written
