Senior Marcomm Manager (Indonesia)

The Senior MarComm Manager is responsible for creating interest and demand for mig33 through partner display Advertising, below-the-line activities, collaterals, POS and events/activations. In addition, the Senior MarComm Manager is responsible for all Public Relations strategy from conceptualization and copywriting for all media activity as well as execution. This person also acts as a gatekeeper to maintain a consistent company image, and positioning. He/she works with the Business Director for overall Indonesia operations, and manages the campaigns within the other marketing and PR departments. He/She is responsible for preparing a detailed annual budget and for tracking and maintaining the budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, manage and lead a world class marketing and PR team responsible for the platform product line
  • Develop strategies and own day-to-day execution for Indonesia marketing and public relations programs, both corporate and product oriented
  • Interface and consult regularly with cross-functional teams across the company
  • Lead the development and implementation of a marketing strategy for mig33 that ensures continued growth, engagement and satisfaction
  • Develop and drive programs to frame and track competitive landscape, understand target markets and identify market insights to inform product strategies and go-to-market activities
  • Develop and drive programs to support successful features introductions and continued growth with high quality partner implementations that result in great user experience and partner success
  • Support the outbound marketing and sales team in the development of tools and resources for current and prospective partners, developers, press, spokespeople and sales team
  • Educate users, press, bloggers, analysts and influencers about core mig33 features and initiatives in Indonesia
  • Drive positive coverage in Indonesian media
  • Support and manage the creation of press materials and customer/partner reference programs
  • Organize press briefings, media sessions and events
  • Prepare briefing materials and manage executive spokespeople

Requirements:

  • 6-8 years of experience in technology with management experience
  • Proven expertise in product marketing and PR in the web technology sector
  • At least 8 years professional experience, both agency and in-house preferred
  • Deep knowledge of concepts and technologies for online advertising, search marketing and social networking
  • Experience working with corporate and business media and bloggers to achieve communications goals
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute at both a strategic and an operational level. Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously diving into the details but remaining focused on the big picture
  • Strong manager with excellent organization and people skills and the ability to set priorities, problem-solve, multi-task and work well in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment
  • Strong communicator to varied audiences both internal and external
  • Technical background preferred
  • Minimum bachelor degree in marketing
  • Superb English and Indonesian verbal and written communications skills
