The theme of this year’s gathering is “mig-ing, Chatting and gathering” and the event will be held at Bekasi Square Ground Floor from 9 a.m. till late. mig33 users in Yogyakarta have been involved whole-heartedly in volunteer activities during the Merapi Mountain eruption in Central Java.
Thousands of our users helped out by hold important positions at several emergency posts and refugee shelters Yogyakarta and Central Java, like Wukirsari, Cangkringan, Wedari and Sleman.
These enthusiastic and brave individuals did fund raising in the streets of Yogyakarta and raised money for toiletries, baby essentials, sleeping pads, blankets, sanitary napkins and snacks. Some stayed in posts to cook for refugees while others led the children in singing and dancing activities in order to take their minds off the recent traumatic events.
Despite the danger, mig33 users in Yogyakarta are happy to pray and share to help lessen the grief of these victims of the natural disasters.
