How to join mig33?

You’ve heard about us. You’ve seen your friends using it and you’re keen to be a part of our amazing community. Just before you start, it’s best to just run through a few simple steps and have your phone ready for this wonderful application. Joining us is totally free!

Where do I start?

To join mig33, you will first need to register with us. Pick one of the options below and soon you’ll be among friends in a wonderful community:

a)      Sign up via mobile

b)      Free web registration

You will require to have a compatible mobile phone with access to mobile internet. For some phones, you may need to get proper mobile settings for the application to function smoothly.

Why do you need my mobile phone number?

Your mobile number is important so we can contact you about your account, for verification purposes and to avoid spam account creation. It is also used to enable free services within mig33.  It will not be shared with any other parties outside mig33.

Why do I need to enter the security code when I sign up?

You will need to enter the security code to identify that you are a real user. This is similar to “word verification” in most site. Just enter the alphabets shown to proceed with the registration of your account.

Why do I need to authenticate?

An authentication code will be sent for every new ID created. This is to make sure make sure we have your correct mobile number recorded.

Successfully authenticating your ID will entitle you to our bonus credit which allows you to try our some of our great services.

Why am I not receiving my authentication code?

If you did not receive your authentication code instantly, please be patient, as there may be a delay with our SMS provider.

You can login to mig33 > Menu > Settings > select Resend Code. Your code will then be sent via SMS to your phone.

If you still have not received your authentication code after 24 hours, please check that the number you’ve registered is an active mobile number or contact your service provider to ensure that there’s no restrictions for incoming international SMSes.

Last but not least, please contact our customer service at contact@mig33.com with your mig33 username, mobile number, country and network provider.

How to get mig33 software?

There are two ways which you can get mig33 application onto your mobile phone:

a)      From your phone

  • Using your phone web browser go to the wap.mig33.com or m.mig33.com/join > Download Now > I already have an account > select version.

b)      From your computer to the phone

  • To save on GPRS costs when installing the application, you can try downloading our *.zip file and installing mig33 by opening the *.zip file and installing the right version of mig33 for your phone. You should be able to do this by Bluetooth or by Cable depending on what hardware you have. Please consult your Handset manual.

Which mig33 software version should I download?

We recommend that you download the latest version for you to be able to enjoy all the great features we’ve added in to the software.

a)      Current version 4.20

b)      Previous version 3.08

c)      Lite Version (for MIDP1.0 phones)

* Downloading any version other than what has been provided by Project Goth is at the user’s own risk

Where to find the mig33 software on my phone?

Where the application is saved will depend on your phone. If you have not changed the default settings, then you can usually find the mig33 applications in the following locations:

a)      Nokia: Menu > Installation

b)      Sony Ericsson: Menu > File manager > Application

c)      Motorola: Menu > Games & Application

Why can’t I access the WAP site?

If you can’t access our WAP site your mobile phone may not be properly set up to access the Internet. You may want to setup your mobile settings first.
